A year on from Krrum’s Evil Twin EP, and the dynamic duo of Alex Krum and co-vocalist Alex Carrie release a 2017 edition of the Evil Twin EP, featuring songs ‘Evil Twin’ (plus a remix by Cazzette), ‘Moon’, ‘Still Love’, ‘Hard On You’ and the most recent addition ‘Get The Girl’. It's a gently pulsating track that swiftly combines vocalised pop melodies, indie-dance electronics and some thrash-style bass. These vibrant-yet-shadowy loops of sound seem to increase in intensity with each revolution, especially matched with Krrum’s mantra “I don’t get the girl, but you get everything you need, I don’t get the girl, everybody wants a piece of you.” It’s a perfectly produced addition to the EP, which is out now via 37 Adventures/+1 Records. - HT
